Within one year almost all consumables price become almost double in US like gas, milk, bread, vegetables, grains etc. and earnings of common man has not rises up to that proportion, if you talk normal raise -as per principal it would be 3-5% ! I never thought that we now have to choose between a gallon of gas OR a gallon of milk, or ride the bus .
Times now are rough not only has pay remained the same but there has been LAY-OFFS left and right...even going on a date these days can be expensive due to the gas prices and I can't blame men now if they want to treat a lady on a date to just a whopper and a coke at Burger King and a romantic ride in the long limo a.k.a. the public bus ! :(Consumables price in US like gas, milk, food etc become almost double this yr,but earnings are same! comments?
Vote republican for more war. The cost of the Iraq war was supposed to be paid with Iraqi oil. Instead terrorism is up, the price of oil is up, other prices are up, and the economy is down.
time to start eating more beans and rice... well, no, the price of rice is skyrocketing, too!
You are right. Things are getting more expensive and wages are not increasing. Hard times for a lot of people.
