What is the best hair toner for pastel white blonde or ash blonde hair (pre-lightened)?

It all depends on what your hair looks like after it's been lightened. Don't purchase one until you've lightened it first, just in case.





If it is a deep or bright yellow, go for a purple toner, like a beige blonde or violet icey color.





If it's an orangey blonde, do a blue toner, like a gray or silver.





If it's just barely off, like a light blonde but not cool enough as you'd like, do either a high-level neutral or choose the exact color you want it to be. You can also try using a purple or blue depositing shampoo a couple times, like clairol shimmer lights or schwartzkoph touch of silver.





Remember these all must be semi permanent colors, with a low volume peroxide (use the one that is made for the color line).
