Within an office what consumables (for example pens, paper) have a shelf life before they start to deteriorate? Plz help!!!Consumables which would have a limited shelf life before deteriorating?
pens ( the ink dries as well as markers)

paper (time makes it yellow)

tape (the glue wont be as strong)

printer cartridges (it clogs up and dries up also)

white-out (dries up)

first aid kit (some items have expiratio dates)

batteries (also have expiration date)Consumables which would have a limited shelf life before deteriorating?
batteries, ink, pens, coffee,
What is in the office when you take over will still be there when you retire if you have not used it, replaced it, broken it or rendered it otherwise useless and thrown it out.

Besides, each would have a varying durability. Are you talking of carpets, desks, glasses? These latter will last for centuries, as we know from the pottery dug up from tombs.
