Toner to make hair stark white??

my hair is dark-ish brown, and has some coloring left over in the ends. i've experimented with some strands, and was able to get them really close to platinum blonde. (I used prizm lites toning bleach in violet with a 20vol developer, and left it on for 40minutes, then repeated) it got the new growth really really light, and white in some places, but i was wondering if anyone knows of a toner that will keep up the white color and not turn brassy. i'm tempted to a big white chunk in front, but i'm a little worried about the ends that have dark brown (red base) left over - any comments or suggestions... (besides ';don't do it';)Toner to make hair stark white??
Manic Panic has a great white toner. You can pick it up at Sally. Sally also has other brands of toner. To make your hair white, to get out all the yellow tones, you would need, obviously a violet toner and some bleach. The white color will stay. It won't change colors or anything, cause there's no color to change. Trust me.Toner to make hair stark white??
Manic Panic toner is hard to get.Sallys doesnt have it(they sell 5-6 colors)I got mine from an import store(I say get it offline)It works but for WHITE though, your hair has to be EXTREMELY light or it just puts highlights in.Clairol is EXCELLENT.Dont know bout Wella.Ive heard its awesome though. Toners come in various brands and shades. My favorite brand is mostly Clairol. You would have to decide on the shade you like best. You can purchase it in any Sally's Beauty Supply.
Your question is in the Australian section. You need a semi-permanent colour called a ';toner'; which tones any brassy/yellow colours out. In a purple or blue tone which counteracts the gold. But it's only going to make those darker ends look darker because it only works on the lighter parts.

Go to a salon to get advice.
I'd say go with the Manic Panic,my cousin's boyfriend uses all kinds of Manic Panic products and it seems to work fine for him.
