Simple, cheap, laser printer with low cost for consumables?

There are plenty of cheap printers, but then they make their money on the ink. I'm looking for a laser printer that starts cheap and stays cheap.Simple, cheap, laser printer with low cost for consumables?
Keep an eye out for personal monochrome laser printers at BestBuy, Staples, Office Depot, you get the picture... You shouldn't have too much trouble finding one for under $129.00.

Before you make your purchase, do some research to find out if class 2, factory remanufactured toner cartridges are available. They'll give you quality prints that equal or surpass OEM (Brand Name) supplies at a fraction of the cost, often being priced at less than 1/2 of what you'd expect to pay for OEM cartridges.

You shouldn't have any trouble locating them online either, and most reputable online retailers will offer a fantastic warranty and free shipping for minimum orders.

I would go with a Brother printer.

Right now Staples has the HL-2040 for $70-80, the replacements through oinkinkstore.com cost $50. The cartridge does 2500 pages.

Or you could get the HL-5240 for $200 ($100 rebate check from Staples). Replacements for the 7000 yield cartridge through oinkinkstore.com is $60.

I just ordered the hl-2040 for myself through staples.
I use a Samsung ML 2100 series. The printer is pretty cheap in general. The toner/drum is sold as a kit for about 70-80 at a retail store (you can find it cheaper online if you look). Approx 21ppm
How about HP LaserJet P1006? It is Small size, good print quality.. A decent deal for it is only $60 instead of $180. Ypu can have a look at it:
